We have been placing nurses and allied health providers in both per diem positions and short-term and long-term contracts since 2001. Our Recruiters recruit healthcare professionals through advertisements and referrals. Each candidate is subjected to skills testing, background and drug screening, license verification, and multiple reference checks. We heavily rely on the references given by our current employees and the managers of medical facilities. Furthermore, we monitor the performance of our healthcare providers by obtaining feedback from the medical facility. In order to meet our minimum qualifications, each health care professional requires two years of experience in their specialty, although the majority of the professionals we place vastly exceed our two year requirement. Star Nursing, Inc. is therefore able to deliver the most experienced and competent healthcare providers to your facilities.

Star Nursing values its clients and the nurses we place; as such we guarantee to the clients our commitment to ensure your satisfaction. Our staffing offices are open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week for the benefit of our clients. In additions to speaking to a live person, each time you call, we have an account manager on call 24/7 as well as a clinical nurse manager to assist with your needs.

Our mission is to place the best and most qualified healthcare providers in medical and correctional facilities where their expertise is needed. We hold hundreds of accounts nationally: Accounts consist of – National health systems, regional health systems, local health systems, county health systems, community hospitals, private and public facilities, government facilities, VA- national accounts, state-wide correctional facilities, Rehabilitation facilities, home health, long-term care and national Insurance establishments.

We recruit nurses from all over the country but especially in areas where we have contracted facilities and employ nurses from 39 different states. We have a 94% fill rate (ratio of requests to healthcare professional provided) and provide staff on short notice as well as late calls.
